Designed for use over single doorways, hallways, or drive-through windows, this commercial heater works well for any situation requiring a high-mounted fan heater. The economical unit produces a steady down flow of heat, and the direction of air flow can be easily adjusted. Use the heater to help keep employees comfortable and to make customers walking through the front door feel welcome.
Simple on-board controls allow for turning the unit on/off and for selecting from full-heat or half-heat--or fan-only mode, which comes in handy for summertime air circulation. The unit can be used instead of a ceiling fan during warm weather, creating a recirculated cool-air barrier to help keep cold air inside; in the winter months, the unit helps keep warm air inside by creating a heated warm-air barrier, moving warm air from the ceiling to the floor. Other highlights include an easy-access junction box, a wire-stitched heating element for instant response, a quiet fan, and two power-interrupt cut-outs to ensure safe operation.
Multi-function brackets come included for easy installation. Made of powder-coated pressed steel with ABS end caps, the UL- and CSA-approved down-flow heater measures 23-4/5 by 4-3/4 by 8-3/8 inches.
